This lovely desk chair has an aura of homespun beauty. It’s English and over 100 years old having been made in the 19th century and its smooth time worn seat and gentle curved arms bear testament to its age. It was probably used as a clerks chair in a bank or office around or just before 1900.
It is made of beech with bentwood arms and a spindle back and is in good order with light wear to surfaces commensurate with age. Its pale wood and gentle bearing make it a timeless addition to any space.
